We had a 2 night stay at Waterwoods and what a fantastic place it is. If you are looking for a peaceful and restful getaway this is the place to go. The rooms are great and the rates are reasonable. We took our children and they enjoyed the walks and the scenery. The owners were very hospitable and made sure we felt welcome. I highly recommend Waterwoods and if you are looking for a great wedding venue that stands out above the rest go and see it for yourself.

We booked two cottages (for two couples) to stay over at Waterwoods at Fort Nottingham en route to Durban for just one night. Stunning part of the world and we wanted to stay longer! We had a warm welcome by Lynford the owner, had a great night’s rest and explored the property the following morning. The huge lake/dam is beautiful and fly fishermen would LOVE it there. The cottages are beautifully furnished and equipped – good quality beds and crisp white linen. Just a pity they have a garden setting rather than a view of the lake, but really nice anyway.
